Synopsis
Luoyang (风起洛阳, 2021) is a Chinese historical mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. Three strangers with nothing in common are pulled into the same dangerous investigation: someone in the ancient imperial capital of Luoyang is plotting to bring down Empress Wu Zetian herself.
Huang Xuan and Wang Yibo — one of China's most prominent entertainment figures — lead the ensemble across palaces, back alleys and the shadowy politics of the Tang court. Director Xie Ze adapted the source novel by Ma Boyong, a writer whose historical fiction has generated multiple streaming hits.
