Synopsis
The Darkest Hour (Za chas do rassveta, 2021) is a post-war Russian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. In 1946, Lieutenant Denis Zhuravlyov comes home from the front and signs up for the militia.
His new boss is Major Shumeyko — nicknamed Satan and played by Konstantin Khabensky — a hard man who gets results by any means necessary. A gang led by a criminal known as Kleshch is terrorizing the city, and the only way to take it down is from the inside. Zhuravlyov agrees to go undercover among the criminals, his life on the line. He soon learns that this war, fought in peacetime when no one knows friend from foe, is more tangled than the one he just survived.
