Synopsis
Vozmezdie ("Retribution," 2011) is a Russian mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. St. Petersburg adman Maxim Tretyakov runs down a fortune-teller named Roza on a dark road — and that's only where it begins.
A pricey lawyer gets Maxim off the manslaughter charge. Then the dead woman's husband stops him outside the courthouse with a strange claim: Roza was no street psychic but something closer to a guardian, a woman who had quietly steered people away from disaster for years. The bill comes due fast. Either Maxim takes her place, or death turns toward the people he loves. Grigory Antipenko, Boris Galkin and Natalia Antonova lead the cast.
