Synopsis
Uzak Şehrin Masalı (2021) — A Fairy Tale of a Distant City — is a Turkish drama you can watch online on iFILM. Umay spent years enduring her husband Affan's control. The day she finally leaves, she takes her children and heads for her sister Sonay's house: a remote mountain village, far from the life she's escaping.
The village has complications of its own. Kürşat, a man with a dark history and police looking for him, is hiding inside Sonay's home. To protect him, the women of the household pass him off as Sonay's long-absent husband. Umay knows the deception. She also knows, as weeks pass, that what she's feeling toward Kürşat isn't something she planned for.
