Synopsis
24 Hours to D-Day (2024) is an American war drama you can watch online on iFILM, and the clock is the whole point. With less than a day left before the Allies storm the Normandy beaches, a small team of American Special Forces drops by parachute into a France still held by German troops.
Their mission is narrow and lethal: stay uncaught, reach the drop zones, and switch on the signal beacons that will guide the main assault through the dark — the men of the 101st Airborne. Hour by hour the squad crosses hostile ground, where any farmer might inform on them and any patrol could end the whole operation. Director Monroe Robertson skips the sweeping battle spectacle and bets instead on the tight, frayed tension of a few soldiers behind enemy lines. Eric Roberts features in the cast.
