Synopsis
Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) is a DC fantasy action-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Billy Batson still turns into a grown-up superhero with a single word, and he has shared the gift with his foster siblings. The trouble is, they cause more chaos than they prevent. The local press has nicknamed them the Philadelphia Fiascoes.
The fun stops when the daughters of the titan Atlas arrive in town. Hespera and Kalypso, played by Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu, want to reclaim the power stolen from the gods, and they will tear Philadelphia apart to get it. Their younger sister Anthea, played by Rachel Zegler, throws another twist into the fight. Zachary Levi returns as the muscle-bound hero who is still a clueless teenager on the inside.
Director David F. Sandberg picks up the story he launched back in 2019 and piles on mythical beasts, dragons, and plenty of jokes about heroes who barely know what they are doing.
