Synopsis
Misafir (2021) is a Turkish family drama you can watch online on iFILM. A young woman who has run out of reasons to continue jumps off a bridge and is pulled from the water by a stranger — a widowed police commissioner who has just moved to a new city with his three children and no particular plan beyond starting over himself.
She wakes up in hospital with her identity unconfirmed and makes a choice: stay blank, become someone else, see what a second chance looks like. The commissioner brings her into his household, half out of duty and half out of fear she'll try again. Two people who arrived at the same low point by entirely different roads, now sharing a kitchen. Director Arda Sarıgün builds the closeness slowly, without manufactured crises.
