Dr Alex Hoffman is attacked on the eve of the launch of his revolutionary AI, but not before receiving a mysterious antique book.

When VIXAL-4 profits from a human disaster, Dr Hoffman becomes increasingly paranoid and his investors grow concerned.

Dr Hoffman’s paranoia reaches fever pitch after the intruder from the break-in invites him to a dilapidated hotel.

As VIXAL-4 exceeds its programming limits, Dr Hoffman races against the clock to stop what he might have inadvertently started.
