Pavel Derevyanko carries nearly every scene, moving his character from smugness to a very late awakening. Kristina Asmus and Pavel Chinaryov appear alongside him. Directors Sergey Korotaev and Maria Agranovich fuse a time loop with a story about growing up too late — the line "tomorrow will be yesterday" is the rulebook, not wordplay.
