Synopsis
Volunteer's Playlist (2023) is a Russian drama you can watch online on iFILM. By twenty-five, Shtapich had already married, divorced, and torpedoed his career — left with nothing.
Almost by accident he lands in a volunteer search-and-rescue squad, the kind that combs forests at night looking for missing people. For the first time he finds not drinking buddies but people who genuinely burn for what they do. He rises fast and becomes the squad's star, yet it brings him no peace. He keeps bouncing between his ex-wife, the tough women around him, and a girl nicknamed Kukla he can't stop thinking about.
Ivan Yankovsky takes the character from cynicism toward something close to meaning, and never overplays it. Director Maxim Sveshnikov builds the whole thing around a quiet truth: saving strangers is easier than fixing yourself. Shamil Khamatov and Evgenia Gromova co-star.
