Synopsis
Free Sky (Hür, 2023) is a Turkish military action series you can watch online on iFILM. High above the country flies an elite new unit of the Turkish Air Force — the Free Squadron, a crew of sharp young pilots who treat guarding the skies not as heroics but as the day job.
On the ground they lead ordinary lives, and the inner demons they carry don't stay behind on the runway. In the cockpit, all of it has to give way to one thing: fly the dangerous mission and bring the jet home. Across ten episodes the show draws obvious comparisons to Top Gun, but it earns its own footing by working real flight footage and aerial maneuvers into the frame rather than leaning only on CGI. The squad mixes men and women; Ogün Kaptanoğlu and Hilmi Cem İntepe star, with Ekin Pandir directing.
