Synopsis
Strazhnik (Стражник, 2023) is a Russian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Special-forces soldier Mikhail Tsarev comes back to his hometown in the Murmansk region for his father's milestone birthday. The celebration ends in handcuffs — right there at the restaurant table.
His father, police colonel Nikolai Tsarev, runs the local National Guard command, and he is taken in on suspicion of corruption. Mikhail steps in, nearly brawling with the arrest team before he is pulled back. A young, ambitious investigator named Yulia Borisoglebskaya insists Nikolai used his rank to squeeze bribes out of half the town's businesses for years and has to answer for it. That puts a soldier son on one side and the law on the other. The cast includes Makar Zaporozhsky, Nikolai Kozak, and Yana Enzhaeva.
Directed by Aleksey Bystritskiy, the series plays as a family drama wrapped inside a detective story — the real question is less whether the father is guilty than whether the son is ready to find out.
