NRSynopsis
Queen Cleopatra (2023), Season 1 — a Netflix docudrama you can watch online on iFILM: four episodes tracing Egypt's last pharaoh from a contested throne to the edge of empire.
The series opens with a teenager forced to rule. Sibling politics are already pulling Cleopatra's grip loose when she plays the longer game: a pact with Julius Caesar, a son who briefly fuses Rome and Egypt, then a murder that dissolves the safety net overnight. By mid-season she has rebuilt — Antony at her side, Egypt prospering — but Octavian's legions are forming on the horizon. The final episode, bluntly titled "The Last Pharaoh," puts her children, her throne, and her name all in the same crosshairs.
UK–US co-production blends staged reenactments with historian commentary; the result is closer to a portrait than a lecture. Stream Queen Cleopatra Season 1 online on iFILM.
