Synopsis
Summer in the City (2023) is a Russian romantic comedy series to watch online on iFILM. Marie grew up in France in a family of Russian émigrés, fell for a Moscow guy named Pavel, and flies in unannounced to surprise him on his birthday. The surprise lands — and then nothing goes the way she pictured it.
Instead of a quiet date, Marie ends up as an intern at the very event agency where Pavel works, and within weeks she's rescuing several big productions from disaster. The pace of the Russian capital overwhelms her: deadlines, chaos, a language she only half-speaks. Yet she decides to stay.
