Synopsis
Games 80 (Игры, 2024) is a Russian drama you can watch online on iFILM. After yet another scandal, the spoiled son of a Soviet official is packed off as a volunteer to the organizing committee of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
There will be no favors: his supervisor is the daughter of a high-ranking officer, and she has no intention of coddling a rich kid. Landing behind the polished facade of the country's biggest sporting event, he gets to know athletes, coaches and fellow volunteers. Through their eyes he sees what the broadcasts left out — the backstage drama of a build-up that more than once teetered on collapse.
