Synopsis
Blackshore (2024) is an Irish crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. A detective comes back to the coastal town she once fled, and within days she's pulled into a missing person case she never wanted.
The investigation refuses to stay professional. The disappearance keeps brushing against her own buried trauma and the town's grim past — a tight-knit place where everyone knows everyone and nobody talks. The deeper she digs, the more often she has to choose between the truth and people she used to love. Lisa Dwan plays a woman whose case cracks open other people's secrets and her own old wounds in equal measure. That cold western shoreline almost functions as a character in itself.
Director Dathaí Keane builds a brooding noir that owes as much to Nordic crime as to anything Irish, transplanted to Ireland's Atlantic edge — all fog, closed communities, and guilt that won't let go.
