Then the scandal walks in on its own. Aspiring singer Vera Dyomina sits down on live air and accuses Kirill Artemyev — a pop idol the whole country adores — of assaulting her. She wants to be heard. The host, the producers and the audience mostly want a spectacle, and what actually happened that day barely registers next to the ratings. With minutes left before broadcast, the loudest voice wins, not the honest one. Milos Bikovic takes the lead, alongside Viktoria Tolstoganova, Igor Vernik and Anastasia Krasovskaya.
