Synopsis
STHLM Blackout (2024) is a Swedish action-crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Arthur, a producer at a tech news outlet, takes true-crime fan Mille out for a first date. It turns into the worst night of both their lives.
The evening goes sideways fast. The two of them stumble straight into the middle of a citywide meltdown — murder, sabotage, and a Stockholm gone dark. Nobody asked them to be there, yet survival now depends on the two near-strangers figuring it out on the fly, mid-introduction. Erik Johansson and Hanna Alström play a mismatched pair shoved from awkward small talk into a sprint through gunfire, with Alba August and Valter Skarsgård rounding out the cast.
Director Milad Avaz keeps it poised between thriller and pitch-black comedy: the deadlier the situation gets, the more absurd the date becomes.
