Synopsis
Video Nasty (2025) is a pitch-black crime comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, following three VHS-obsessed teenagers in over their heads. An Irish-British production, rated 18+.
The kids are mostly normal — just a little off. They set out on a half-serious quest to track down a legendary stash of cult video tapes, the kind of banned horror titles that once panicked an entire country. Get the tapes, that's the whole plan. Instead, somewhere along the road, they end up tangled in a murder, and every move they make to cover it digs the hole deeper. Simone Kirby, Justin Daniels Anene and Leia Murphy lead a cast of small-town misfits who feel genuinely lived-in.
Directed by Christopher Smith and Megan K. Fox, the show keeps one foot in farce and one in real dread — funny right up until it isn't. The title nods to Britain's 1980s "video nasty" moral panic, and the series wears that cult-horror love proudly.
