Synopsis
Knyazhna miloserdiya (Princess of Mercy, 2024) is a Russian historical drama rated 16+, available to watch online on iFILM. The year is 1878, the Russo-Turkish War is grinding to a close, and Princess Sofia receives word that her husband — Major Alexei Raevsky — has been killed on the Balkan front. She refuses to accept it.
Sofia pushes through an accelerated nursing programme and heads to the war zone alone. She finds Raevsky alive, pulls him from an Ottoman prison camp, and brings him home. The relief is short-lived: his enemies at court charge him with treason, and only Sofia stands between him and the gallows — which means another journey east, this time with allies she can trust.
