Synopsis
Плут (2021) is a Ukrainian crime series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Valery Ibragimov. It centres on a resourceful ex-convict nicknamed "The Schemer" — a man who survived prison and loss and walked out with a plan already in motion.
Working with his contact Andrei, who runs the operational unit of the capital's police department, the Schemer assumes the identity of a mutual friend who died a year ago and gets himself a badge. Andrei Klimenkov and Dmitry Palamarychuk lead the cast. The undercover setup is real, but the motives aren't clean: the criminal investigation the Schemer is assigned to happens to involve a corrupt official who once had stolen diamonds go missing — and the Schemer knows exactly who was blamed.
