Synopsis

Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage) is balding, forgettable, and has spent years failing to finish a book about ant collective intelligence. Then fame arrives from nowhere: people recognize him on the street because he showed up in their sleep last night. At first Paul enjoys the spotlight and even hopes to land a publisher at last. But the dreams curdle, and the harmless background figure turns into someone everyone dreads. Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera and Tim Meadows round out the cast.
