Synopsis
The Escape Artist (2013), Season 1 — a three-episode BBC legal thriller you can watch online on iFILM. David Tennant plays Will Burton, a barrister who has never lost a case. Season one is about what that record actually costs him.
Liam Foyle walks free. Then kills again. When Foyle returns to the dock, his defence falls to Maggie Gardner — Will's courtroom rival, every bit as hungry to win. Will is sidelined but runs his own parallel investigation, tracing Foyle north toward the Scottish border. Toby Kebbell plays Foyle as a man who is most frightening when he is completely calm.
