Synopsis
Şevkat Yerimdar (Man Up, 2017) is a Turkish family comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Şevkat runs an egg stall in a traditional Istanbul neighbourhood where most of the houses and shops belong to Cevdet, a well-off antiquarian who has held the street together for decades. The residents — colorful, stubborn, and loyal to each other in the way only tight-knit communities can be — muddle through daily life by old rules.
Things shift when Cevdet's daughter Esin returns after years in Paris, where she trained as a painter. She wants to convert the family house into a studio and open a gallery.
