Synopsis
The Prince (Prens, 2023) is a Turkish comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Bülent İşbilen. The setup: the king of the fictional Kingdom of Bongomia dies, and the throne passes to the one son nobody expected — the youngest, least prepared, and least wanted.
Giray Altınok plays the reluctant royal, a man who spent most of his life being overlooked by the palace and is now suddenly supposed to run it. The court around him is stacked with characters who each have their own agenda — some want to control him, some want to replace him, and a few might actually be on his side. Ceyda Düvenci, Aslı Tandoğan, and Burçu Özberk round out a cast that clearly enjoys the absurdity of the premise.
