Lorena (2019) is a four-part Amazon documentary series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Joshua Rofé.

In June 1993, Virginia resident Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband John's penis and drove away. The story dominated American cable news for weeks and quickly became a punchline. Lorena's account of years of physical and sexual abuse barely registered in the coverage. The series returns to the case with all of it: Lorena on camera, John on camera, the medical examiner, trial footage, and the feminist activists who tried to get her side heard at the time.
