Synopsis
Selfi s Sudboi (2018) is a Russian detective series you can watch online on iFILM. Physics professor Ilya Subbotin has an unusual hobby: solving real crimes on the side. When a respectable elderly woman is found strangled in a souvenir shop in the village of Sokolnichye, the local police arrest the obvious suspect — a neighbourhood drunk caught near the scene. Ilya is convinced they have the wrong man.
He checks into a nearby guesthouse and finds himself surrounded by a curious crowd: a flamboyant poet, a tour guide hiding something, an elderly gentleman, a couple glued to their phones, a melancholy beauty, and a well-known film director.
