Synopsis
Liam Neeson leads a nationwide manhunt in The Mongoose, a 2026 action thriller you can watch online right now. He plays an ex-Special Forces soldier framed for a crime he didn't commit, a man who decides he has nothing left to lose.
The chase runs the length of the country and goes out live as it happens. Old army buddies from his former battalion start turning up to help, one roadblock at a time. Michael Chiklis and Hamish Michael play the officers trying to box him in, while Marisa Tomei's character can't quite decide whether he's a hero or a threat. Ving Rhames rounds out a cast built for exactly this kind of standoff.
Director Mark Vanselow, working on an Australian-American production, leans on Neeson's now-signature blend of exhaustion and controlled violence rather than spectacle — the same register that's kept him an action-genre fixture well past sixty.
