Cinema is what actually excites him, but he never found the nerve to shoot a single frame. A terminal diagnosis changes that calculus fast — doctors give him months, not years. Gera trades the operating room for a film set, spending what's left of his time on the movie he always wanted to make. Anastasia Evgrafova, Alexey Serebryakov and Evgeny Tkachuk round out the cast as crew members and family who don't exactly cheer his decision at first.
