Synopsis
Junior League (Молодёжка, 2013) is a Russian youth drama series from STS channel — watch online on iFILM all six seasons. Director Andrei Golovkov and Art Pictures Vision built the show around the Bears, a struggling hockey club in Podolsk that hires a new head coach: Sergei Makeyev, played by Denis Nikiforov, a former top-league player trying to prove he can still make a difference on the ice.
Getting the Bears into the Junior Hockey League sounds simple enough on paper. In practice, Makeyev inherits a locker room full of teenagers who fight, fall in love, and barely follow instructions. Ekaterina Klimova stars as Victoria Kashtanova, and the ensemble grows quickly — Igor Ogurtsov, Ivan Mulin, and a rotating cast of young faces whose off-ice dramas are every bit as intense as the games.
