Synopsis
Adam Resurrected (2008) is a Holocaust drama directed by Paul Schrader — watch it online on iFILM. Before the war, Adam Stein was a celebrated Berlin entertainer, magician and clown. In the death camp, Commandant Klein spared his life on one condition: Adam had to perform for other prisoners on their way to the gas chambers. He survived. Years later, Adam lives in an Israeli psychiatric asylum for Holocaust survivors, dazzling the staff and fellow patients with his quicksilver mind while keeping the worst memories at arm's length. Jeff Goldblum plays him as a man of relentless, almost violent charm — one of his most demanding performances on screen. Willem Dafoe appears in flashbacks as Klein, cold and precise.
