Synopsis
The Legacy (1978) is a British horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Richard Marquand cast Katharine Ross and Sam Elliott as two American architects lured to a weekend stay at a remote English manor — alongside Roger Daltrey of The Who, playing against type as one of the doomed houseguests.
Margaret and Pete arrive expecting a design commission. What they find is a locked-down estate, six strangers with secrets, and a dying aristocrat who seems to know far too much about each of them. The guests start dying in inventive, increasingly unsettling ways, and no one can seem to leave. Marquand builds dread not through jump scares but through the slow, suffocating realization that everyone in the house was invited for a reason.
