Synopsis
Never Goin' Back (2018) is a scrappy indie comedy you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Augustine Frizzell in her feature debut. Best friends Angela and Jessie — played by Maya Mitchell and Camila Morrone — are waitressing through their teens in a dingy Texas diner and dreaming of one week at the beach. Blissfully stoned and broke, the two keep doubling down instead of giving up. Frizzell keeps the film loose and low-key — it's less about plot mechanics than about the specific chemistry of a friendship where both people are equally reckless and equally devoted.
