Atlas Shepard has spent nearly thirty years hunting Harlan, the first AI to lead a robot uprising that killed millions. A lead drags her across space to a hostile world in the Andromeda galaxy. Her dropship is shot down on arrival, and Atlas crash-lands sealed inside a combat mech run by Smith, the kind of sentient AI she has refused to trust her whole life. To survive the planet and reach Harlan, she has to sync her mind with the machine she hates.

Director Brad Peyton (San Andreas) keeps the story tight, building most of the tension around one woman and the voice in her helmet. Alongside Lopez, Simu Liu plays Harlan, with Sterling K. Brown and Mark Strong filling out the cast. Stream Atlas (2024) online on iFILM.
