Synopsis
Speed Racer (2008) is a Warner Bros. action-adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Directors Lana and Lilly Wachowski adapted the 1960s Japanese anime Mach GoGoGo and turned every race sequence into a moving painting — colors blown out, physics optional. Emile Hirsch leads as Speed, joined by Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, and Matthew Fox as the masked Racer X.
Speed grew up with racing in his blood and no plan other than winning. The powerful Royalton Industries offers him a contract and then shows him the ugly truth: top-tier race results are pre-arranged, and those who refuse the deal tend to crash badly. Speed declines anyway. Now the full weight of organized motorsport is working against him, while his brother's fate on the Casa Cristo track remains unanswered.
