Season 6
New stars. New stories. New worlds to explore.
Synopsis
Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 6 (1992) — 26 episodes to watch online on iFILM, and the season that delivered the franchise's most bruising hour.
The sixth season closes the 19th-century cliffhanger fast, then shifts gear: Scotty reappears after 75 years frozen inside a transporter buffer. The two-part "Chain of Command" sends Picard alone into Cardassian custody, where the interrogation is relentless — four lights, not five — while Riker holds the ship together without him. Worf quietly uncovers evidence his father survived and pushes into Romulan territory to find him. Q intercepts a dying Picard and offers a chance to walk back the choices that defined him. By the finale, the Borg are back under entirely new leadership, and Data experiences something that shouldn't be possible for an android — a flicker of real anger.
Season 6 is the one fans cite when they want to explain why TNG still matters. Stream Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 6 online on iFILM, all 26 episodes.
