Synopsis
Far from Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog (1995) is a family survival adventure you can watch online on iFILM. A teenager named Angus takes in a stray and calls him Yellow. Days later their boat capsizes off the coast of British Columbia, leaving boy and dog washed up alone in the wilderness.
His father is swept away, his parents back on shore keep pushing the rescue crews, and Angus is left with whatever bushcraft his dad managed to teach him: build a fire, find water, keep your head. Yellow does the rest, and the dog turns out smarter than most of the adults in the story. Director Phillip Borsos shot it on real Pacific Northwest locations, so the forest itself carries half the tension. With Mimi Rogers, Jesse Bradford and Bruce Davison.
No villains, no chases — just survival, trust and the bond between a kid and his dog, the kind of film that plays clean for the whole household. Stream Far from Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog (1995) online on iFILM.
