Third Star

Third Star (2010) is a British drama you can watch online in good quality. James is twenty-nine and won't see thirty — cancer has run out of his time. For a last goodbye he asks his three oldest friends to haul him out to Barafundle Bay on the West Wales coast, a spot that meant everything to him as a kid.

The trek turns clumsy and hard: a sick man wheeled across rough ground, old grudges, things left unsaid that surface on their own. Benedict Cumberbatch plays James, with Tom Burke, JJ Feild and Hugh Bonneville alongside him. Director Hattie Dalton resists every cheap tug at the heart; she catches instead that awkward, blokey silence men use to hide how much they love someone who's leaving.
