Synopsis
Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest (2007) is a parody special you can watch online on iFILM — a full forty-odd minutes of Star Wars rebuilt by the rowdiest family in animation.
A blackout hits the Griffin house, and Peter kills the dark by retelling his kids A New Hope. From there it's Episode IV turned inside out: Lois steps in as Princess Leia, baby Stewie becomes Darth Vader, Chris plays a clueless Luke, Peter himself takes Han Solo, and the dog Brian gets stuck being Chewbacca. The story hits the canon beats one by one, then derails each with trademark Family Guy detours.
This is the first of three feature-length Family Guy tributes to George Lucas's saga, cooked up by Seth MacFarlane's team. The gags are packed wall-to-wall with references — it lands if you know the original line for line and don't mind it being roasted. For fans of the show and the films at once, it's a direct hit.
