Synopsis
Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth (2000) is an American horror parody you can watch online on iFILM — director John Blanchard's rapid-fire send-up of every slasher cliché that survived the 1990s.
A masked killer is picking off students in Bulimia Falls, one generic horror trope at a time. Attention-chasing TV reporter Hagitha broadcasts from the crime scene and gets in everybody's way; Doughy, the ex-mall-security-guard, tries to protect the teenagers and mostly trips over himself. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Tom Arnold, Coolio and Julie Benz play it all deadpan, which turns out to be exactly the right approach.
Made for TV in the wake of Scream and the Scary Movie franchise, this one plays purely to genre fans — if you can place the references, the gags land; if you can't, the movie is basically a list of things you'd need to watch first.
