Synopsis
No Man's Land (1987) is Peter Werner's crime thriller, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A rookie LAPD cop goes deep undercover inside a ring of car thieves — and finds the role fits him a little too well.
Benjy Taylor, played by D.B. Sweeney, has loved fast cars his whole life, which is exactly why the brass picks him for the job. After a fellow officer is killed, the trail points to Ted Varrick, a rich, easy-charming young man who steals high-end machines for the rush rather than the money. To build a case, Benjy gets close to Ted (Charlie Sheen) and starts boosting cars himself. Sleek nights, fast money, and Ted's sister all pull him further in, until the line between cop and crook gets hard to see.
This one is about how the good life grabs hold faster than any chase. Randy Quaid, Bill Duke and M. Emmet Walsh fill out the cast. A lean, unflashy late-'80s thriller for anyone who likes double games and engines that scream. Stream No Man's Land (1987) online on iFILM.
