Synopsis
The Perfect Weapon (1991) is a lean kenpo-karate action movie you can watch online on iFILM. As a wild teenager, Jeff is dropped into a martial arts school by his father, who hopes the discipline will straighten him out. Years on, his old teacher, Master Kim, gets squeezed by a Korean crime family.
Jeff races back to help and arrives too late — a hired killer takes Kim down. What follows is a one-man hunt through every clan standing between him and the shooter. The lead is Jeff Speakman, an actual kenpo black belt, so most of the fighting is his own footwork shot clean, with little stunt trickery to hide behind. Familiar faces from Asian-American cinema fill the margins: James Hong, Mako, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Eighty-five minutes, no filler — a hit, a chase, another hit.
