Synopsis
Three O'Clock High (1987) is an American teen comedy directed by Phil Joanou — watch it online on iFILM. All Jerry Mitchell did was touch the new kid on the shoulder. That new kid is Buddy Revell. And now there's a fight scheduled for the parking lot at three o'clock sharp.
Jerry spends the entire school day trying to escape the inevitable. He bribes, squeals, schemes and begs — nothing sticks. Casey Semasko plays the every-kid trapped in an impossible situation, while Richard Tyson's Buddy is barely human: a force of nature who communicates mostly through silence and menace. Jeffrey Tambor and Philip Baker Hall round out a cast of adults who are spectacularly useless when it counts.
Joanou shot this at 24, drawing more from Hitchcock than the average John Hughes picture — the school hallways feel like a tightening vice, and the clock on the wall is basically a villain. Stream Three O'Clock High (1987) online on iFILM.
