Synopsis
Annika (2021) is a British detective series you can watch online on iFILM. DI Annika Strandhed runs a new Marine Homicide Unit in Glasgow, the squad called in when violent, baffling deaths surface in the lochs, rivers and along the jagged Scottish coast.
The hook is that Annika keeps breaking the fourth wall. Mid-crime scene she will turn to camera and drop a dry remark, reach for a Norse myth, or grumble about her own messy life.
