Synopsis
The Crown Season 4 (2020) — watch all 10 episodes online on iFILM, as two new figures reshape the entire story: Diana Spencer and Margaret Thatcher arrive at the same time.
Late 1970s into the early '80s. Charles meets the teenage Diana, proposes, and brings Camilla along in his heart. Diana moves to the Palace and discovers the fairytale is mostly protocol and loneliness, with a husband who is somewhere else. Thatcher arrives at Balmoral, sits through the test, and fails it badly; her ideological standoff with Elizabeth over South Africa sanctions becomes the season's other engine. A desperate unemployed man ground down by Thatcher's recession makes it all the way to the Queen's bedroom one night. Charles survives an avalanche in the Alps — and both he and Diana use it to reckon with what their marriage actually is.
Season 4 runs two parallel stories of power simultaneously: a royal marriage that was over before it started, and two women who disagree on almost everything but can't avoid each other. Stream The Crown Season 4 online on iFILM.
