Synopsis
FEUD (2017) is Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series — watch online on iFILM. The first season reconstructs the scorched-earth rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford: Susan Sarandon as Davis, Jessica Lange as Crawford, and a supporting cast that includes Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, and Kathy Bates.
Los Angeles, 1961. Both women have been quietly shelved by the studios. Crawford unearths Henry Farrell's novel What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, cuts a deal with director Robert Aldrich, and insists on one condition — Davis plays her co-star. Davis agrees. What follows on set is less a collaboration and more a cold war with cameras rolling.
Murphy is less interested in the gossip than in the machinery behind it: the way the industry manufactured their enmity, pitted them against each other for decades, and then discarded them both. Sarandon and Lange deliver performances that are hard to look away from. Stream every episode of FEUD online on iFILM.
