Synopsis
The Mighty Nein (2025), Season 1 is the Prime Video animated fantasy you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes adapting the second campaign of the tabletop phenomenon Critical Role.
The continent of Wildemount tilts toward war after a border blast tied to the Beacon, an arcane relic that can rewrite reality itself. Thrown together by chance, a brawling monk, a haunted wizard, a sticky-fingered goblin, a blue tiefling trickster and a shipwrecked sailor turned warlock keep stumbling into the conspiracy. Framed for a massacre, jailed and hunted by Volstrucker assassins, they clear their names one risky heist at a time — assuming they don't kill each other first.
The original Critical Role cast voices the crew — Laura Bailey, Liam O'Brien, Marisha Ray and the rest — with guest turns from Lucy Liu, Mark Strong and Anjelica Huston. After the Mighty Nein prove their worth, The Gentleman offers another assignment – to steal a mysterious Kryn artifact. Competing desires, however, lead the Nein on separate journeys throughout Zadash. While in the Dynasty, Essek betrays Verrat after a devastating loss.

After the Mighty Nein reunite, they embark on an elaborate heist to steal the mysterious Kryn artifact for The Gentleman. But when their plan completely falls apart, it's unclear how the Nein will even escape with their lives.
