Synopsis
Six Shooter (2004) is Martin McDonagh's Oscar-winning short film — watch it online on iFILM. Twenty-seven minutes of pitch-black Irish comedy: a grieving widower boards a train home hours after his wife's death and ends up sharing a carriage with a foul-mouthed, possibly dangerous young stranger.
Brendan Gleeson plays Donnelly, a man hollowed out by loss who wants nothing more than quiet. Rúaidhrí Conroy plays the Kid — erratic, crude, and impossible to ignore. As the journey unfolds, what starts as dark comic irritation tips into something uglier and more violent. McDonagh wrings extraordinary tension from a single train car and a handful of passengers.
