Synopsis
Winged Creatures (2009) is Rowan Woods' psychological drama, which you can watch online on iFILM. After a shooting tears through a roadside diner, a handful of survivors try to work out how to keep living.
A random gunman opened fire and then killed himself, and the people who walked out each drift toward a private kind of breakdown. A doctor (Forest Whitaker) stops trusting his own judgment. A gambler (Guy Pearce) is certain his luck has finally turned. A waitress (Kate Beckinsale) loses herself in strangers. A teenage girl (Dakota Fanning) who lost her father reaches for faith. Their paths barely touch; only that one afternoon binds them.
Adapted from Roy Freirich's novel and released in some countries as Fragments, the film keeps that scattered, mosaic shape. The cast runs deep — alongside the leads there's Jennifer Hudson, Josh Hutcherson and Jackie Earle Haley.
