Synopsis
The Titan (2018) is a science-fiction thriller from Lennart Ruff, available to watch online on iFILM. Earth is dying, so a handful of volunteers are offered an impossible deal: rewrite their own DNA to survive on Saturn's moon, Titan.
Air force pilot Rick Janssen (Sam Worthington) signs up for a course of injections meant to remake his body for a poisonous atmosphere and brutal cold. His eyes change first, then his skin, then the man underneath. His wife Abigail (Taylor Schilling), a doctor, is the one who notices how little of her husband is left. Tom Wilkinson plays the clinical Professor Collingwood running the program, with Nathalie Emmanuel rounding out the cast.
This is intimate, slow-burn sci-fi about the cost of evolution — what happens to love and identity once the body stops being human. Less space spectacle, more uneasy chamber drama about how far we'll go to save the species. Stream The Titan (2018) online on iFILM.
